Drive

Let’s drive out to the ocean’s edge
Park the car & gaze at the night’s sky
The stars will weep
To see such devotion
The moon will dim
Next to such deep emotion
In darkened eyes I am lost
Kisses,
A drug to the system.
Touch of hands,
The world’s most sensual material.
So exotic, So intoxicating.
May it never end nor fade
Under reality’s brutal attack
May Doubt & Insecurity
Never shred such intensity
The light of day
Will never make this feeling yield.
It will last evermore.
